From steamy jungle trails to windswept beaches, this romantic 8-night escape explores two of Costa Rica’s most enchanting regions. Days are filled with adventure: ATV rides, volcanic hot springs, and coastal hikes. Evenings unfold in private plunge pools, hot tubs with a view, and the warmth of luxury, nature, and each other.
Arenal & Santa Teresa
Where jungle meets fire & skyDay 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrive in the capital and settle into Grano de Oro, a tranquil retreat tucked within the city’s historic center. Wander tree-lined boulevards and century-old buildings, or unwind in the rooftop jacuzzi as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Into the highlands
Travel north into the Arenal region, where jungle meets volcano. Check in to Amor Arenal, a luxurious hideaway perched above the canopy. Spend the afternoon soaking in the view, the volcano rising silent and powerful in the distance.
Day 3: Hike to Río Celeste
Explore Tenorio Volcano National Park, where the forest thickens and a turquoise river winds through the trees. Follow the trail to Celeste Waterfall, a cascade so blue it feels otherworldly. Keep your eyes peeled for toucans and monkeys along the way.
Day 4: Canopy zip lines and hot spring soaks
Start your morning soaring through the trees on a zip line adventure. In the evening, unwind at Tabacón, where mineral-rich hot springs cascade through lush gardens. Soak beneath the stars, and let the warmth and water carry you into calm.
Barefoot luxury by the seaDay 5: To the coast
Head southwest to the Nicoya Peninsula and check in at Nantipa, a boutique escape on Santa Teresa’s golden shore. Spend the afternoon walking the beach, watching the surf, or unwinding in your private plunge pool.
Day 6: Waterfalls and secret beaches
Explore the untamed beauty of the southern Nicoya coast by ATV. Visit Montezuma’s jungle waterfalls, then relax on the sands of Playa Suecos, where tide pools and sea cliffs invite a slower rhythm.
Days 7 & 8: Slow days, starry nights
These final days are yours to shape. Swim, hike, or simply stay still beside your villa’s plunge pool. On your last evening, enjoy a candlelit seafood dinner overlooking the Pacific as the sky turns to gold and stars gather above.
Day 9: Departure via San José
After breakfast, transfer to Cobano Airport for a short flight to San José, where you’ll continue on to your next destination.
In the highlands of Bajos del Toro, El Silencio is a cloud forest retreat wrapped in mist and stillness. Villas rest beside waterfalls and winding rivers, inviting deep rest and quiet wonder. Forest walks, open-air spa rituals, and the hush of nature shape the rhythm here.
Tucked into lush gardens near Arenal, Nayara Springs is a private world of romance and jungle calm. Villas feature mineral-fed plunge pools, rainforest showers, and wide terraces for lingering. Every detail is designed for pause, pleasure, and connection.
Perched above the Pacific, Casa Chameleon is where worldly design meets wild beauty. Each villa is a private retreat, with handpicked décor, sweeping sea views, and a saltwater plunge pool made for sunset. Refined, quiet, and endlessly romantic.
